I worked for Dan & Julia of Spoon Bay Gelato (then Mr Goaty Gelato) in 2019, just before we opened the doors of Burnt Honey Bakery. Keen to get sticky and play with frozen desserts once again I reached out to Dan to see if I could lend a hand, and a collab was born!

My task: to design, develop, photograph and launch a gelato celebration cake that fit into the brand, wasn’t a logistical nightmare, and would be irresistible to their already solid customer base on the Central Coast.

The answer was: the Bomb Alaska.
